Facilities

Licensed Bar, Coffee, Tea, Snacks etc.

Our licensed bar carries Cider and Birra Moretti on draught along with a collection of bottled and canned beers lagers and ciders, both alchoholic and non alcoholic.

Our volunteers can also provide the usual selection of coffees from our coffee making machine. Tea and soft drinks are also available.

We usually have home made cakes, biscuits, locally made ice cream and locally produced crisps (all particularly nice).

WiFi

Free ‘Guest’ WiFi is available throughout.

Garden

We have a good sized Garden that is maintained by our volunteer Gardening Club. (More volunteers always welcome).

Games and Puzzles

You are welcome to make use of our collection of family games and puzzles that are in the Lounge area.

Pool Table

When the Cygnet is not in use for other functions there is a full sized Pool Table that can be wheeled out for use.

Skittle Alley

The Skittle Alley that used to be a major feature of the Swan Inn, but was covered over some years ago has been refurbished and brought back into use. Now completed, groups will be able to book the Cygnet for matches. The work was carried out by Harper Construction who are working on the new housing in Jubilee Place. It was done as a donation to the community, so many thanks to them.

Ping-Pong table

Like skittles, at one time ping-pong was played everywhere, but not so much these days, partly because of the space needed. We have a table available, so if you fancy a game please ask.

Dart Board

We also have a dart board just waiting for players.

Book Exchange

We also have a book exchange, which is situated in the Conservatory. This is not connected with the Library Service collection above. Leave a book and take a book.
